The Standard Door Sound is Wooden (If I remember Correctly)

To make them metal select your door press n and enter the values

Check out this thread it helped me make a damaged lift door that twitches from left/right but you should be able to alter it

I think this is how you would do it but im not sure

You Should be able to make the lift door a script_object with the targetname "lift_door".

And then add this to the script
