Another New .Map Site Coming Soon

Well some more good news for .Map - I've been talking to AIC, who had his own tutorial site for MoHAA. He's agreed to :

(a) allow us to use all his tutorials for MoHAA on this site
and
(b) He will be starting work on a .Map for Half-Life 2 site.

This means that once both CoD and H-L2 sites are up and running, the .Map network will have 3 sites dedicated to helping you to map for the game of your choice. As ever if you want to start a site for the .Map network for a game we don't cover, PM or E-mail me..

you should put htem al in sub-domains, i.e. www.halflife.map.com

or www.mohaa.map.com or www.cod.map.com

then www.map.com could have a link to them all.

That would be awesome!

I say Surgeon is doing a good job with this site.
PLMOH (gamespy network) offers unlimited space/unlimited bandwith and its Free for Surg. So I dont think making another .com is such a good idea. besides the only thing we dont do here is pay surg each month for the hard work he puts in.

yeah but i have a hosting thing already done for a year, and i'm not using it. Surg could use it if he wants, if he got a domain name 4 $20. I dont mind, i've payed 4 it and it is not being used, nowt on it anymore. It has subdomains x100 100 e-mail, cgi, php frontpage extensions etc. You could use it if u want surg, rathre it was put to use than it remain idle. It is a doteasy ultra-host account.

Then again you might just want to stick with Planet MOH its jusyt subdomains 4 each .map site wud be cool.

I say, keep it on PlanetMoH, Domain, ppl always end up entering your main page, and so from there ppl can select one of the many options! And do it on all domains made on Planet i.e, would have the same welcome page, except raise the CoD link because it's planetCoD, If you are going to get domains for CoD that is..

You Could also got to http://www.dot.tk DoT.TK Hosting(all free), and link your sites to this planetMoH

I.E; try http://www.mappingforums.tk

DoT.Tk is a small country which provides direct hosting of domain names for free, and u can profit from the planetMoH webspace...while your domain name is www.map.tk, or something else:P Only prob is, there is a small popup sometimes...

Well maybe cos i make sites of my own, I used that once or twice and it was awful, friends that make sites used it and say its awful do i need anything else to say
