Shader

Post by tltrude »

Sounds like a bad shader file. It may be from someone else's pk3 that you put in your main folder.

I seen a large map that worked but when ever it had a script error and the script was not loaded so that the farplane values where not read and the spawners where not made into script objects so that all the 100 or more ai's in the map where active it had that error . I think it is the ai's that did it , it may be an out of memory error from haveing too many ai's alive at once because the global/ai.scr didn't load so that the $enemyspawner's are there in the map and alive from the start .

it is a small map with only 6 ai's in it,
if it's a shader any way to find out which 1?

non-original

Post by tltrude »

Well, if you haven't added any new textures, shader, or tiki files for your map, remove all non-original pk3s from main. Then add them back one at a time untill the problem returns.
