It's not all as easy as that, I can tell you. The stock map scripts are much harder to follow because there is a lot of 'scripted events' in them, but you can make out the vitals. Not too many guys are making them... HkySktr87 (Chad) and myself are the two that are making them to the best of my knowledge...at least quality ones. It takes more planning for sure and all, but open up the samples and open up a few custom .scr files and see how it's done. Ask for help from the creators or on the forums, but don't go stealing custom scripting with talking to the creator. I'd seriously advise that you put a LOT and I mean a TON of time into getting your map design/building skills down and make some good stuff just to start off with before tackling TOW maps.

I agree with Slyk, TOW maps are quite grief to work on, nice when you finally get it working how you imagined, try pulling apart the stock tow .scr's, you can work out mostly whats going on with the scripts. Theres more than just Slyk and Chad making tow maps, quality ones too :)
Philip II of Macedon sent a message to Sparta:
"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".

Sorry Jack, forgot about ya at the time I wrote that reply. How are your efforts going??? Did ya look over my 'Gun Assault' scripting?? That might give you some ideas. Oh, hell, just play the map first, if you haven't yet! Update me on your projects.
