It's not that it's a bad idea to do maps like that but on the heels of this new modification a lot of people are gonna be playing the new one and not the old one which btw will not work with this because of all the mods.

Oh and the posters are backwards just to let ya know.

Well first off im glad you are interested in my work but...
1. Those posters are not made backwards. If that face was on the wall opposite of that it would be correct you just need to select the face and clip flip down bottom.

2. Your thread is directly above a thread that says City Nights Airport which is the next city nights and is far larger. Im sure you realize that since you have posted there.

3. AS far as making another city nights let's just see how this new one goes.

4. My cat's breath smells like cat food.

5. If you are still reading this you need to move on.

Ok, I need to say this, it's just got to be done. Sorry, don't take it personal, but.....

Slasher, dude, you need to back off. Do you realize that in barely one week you have nearly 50% of the total number of posts that I have in almost 13 MONTHS??? Does this tell you something? I've tried to respond to a few of your posts but you are repeatedly creating new posts without using the 'SEARCH' feature to find similar threads or IDENTICAL ones.

And seriously, you're way to involved in thinking that everyone is jumping at your every offering. There are hundreds of us working on maps, skins, mods, scripting, etc. and you don't see us posting every little advance. I think your best bet is to sit back and look at this forum and see how it really 'works'. How guys post. What they post about, and most importantly, how they respond to each other.

This site is the best of it's kind, anywhere, because of the folks who contribute on all levels. The style that you're coming off with is much better suited to alliedassault.com where you can still find some help. . . although not that useful anymore...unless you want to find all the low-life in this community and crave bashing.

Please just back down the excitement level a few notches and listen to what the guys are feeding you. I have looked at a large number of threads you have started and almost every one of them says something to the effect of ".... use the search feature...". So, seriously, use it. It takes time to learn all there is to know about this game and creating useful things with the tools we have. Had you been around over the last year, you would recognize the huge leaps made by some of the members of this site, taking the editor and other components to new and really awesome places.

My last advice, keep mapping. Keep trying new ideas. Start small, add lots of common and logical detail items to your rooms, area, etc. Start to understand the scale, dimension, and interaction of the environments you are trying to create. Pick a 'genre', WW2, modern, new-age, single-player, multi, etc. Stick with one mode for a while and polish your skills. It takes time. I've been hanging out here for over a year, and I still am a 'noob' in so many ways. Yeah, I can map and script a little using a lot of help and coaching, but I can't skin nor model. But, the cool thing is, someone else who can't map, can do skins and models and such.

AND, finally. Please, use the 'search' function. Think before you post. *Maybe that should be my sig.......... not that I have one.....* Please take this as constructive critisism. At site like aa.com you'd have been told a hundred different ways to foul yourself.

Yes my viewpoint too... I learned 90% of the scripting I know now in like less than 1 month (and I know more than you think). Most of the things I learned were from using search.

Btw- what ever happened to that wombat guy? he was really good. did he leaave mohaa or somethign?

and also you cant just start up a mod when you start mapping, you have to have members actually confirmed, and dont be over ambitious, like saying "20 new weapons, 15 levels, 42 skins" cos frankly, it sounds like a load of BS.

dont wanna jump on the band wagon aswell but... it's travelling in the right direction

i read all the scripts in the maps folder and didn't ask any questions anywhere about anything, you'll feel you've achieved more that way

i've been using this forum and only since february, not long but for nearly 700 posts and alot of advice if given only recently have i asked people who i've helped out to contribute towards something i want to do

your "excitement" if that's the word i'm looking for shouldn't diminish because of the comments people here have made, just know how to take criticism on the chin and deal with it,

ya never know, you soon may be the name that every1 is shouting and can't wait to be part of a MOD team u've created... just give it time :D
hope this helps, prob not cos it's all foreign 2 me :-/
