use detail brushes. theres way too much vis data. use detail brushes for things like tables and chairs.

I forget how do you make something detail?

right click the brush and select make detail.

what kind of map are you making? :shock:

my all time highest was 900k before i optimized it a bit

I converted a stock map and was editing it, and the convert REALLY SCREWED it up, each wall was made out of like 60 different brushes all overlapped. I think just about all of the 15000 brushes were duplicate planes.

yeah its a bad idea to try 2 convert stocks.
