I have this bunker type of building. On top is one long sandbag with an MG42 on top. Underneath/inside the bunker I have 4 yellow light sources. However when I'm on top, the yellow light sort of "floats" up and it reflects off of the player, the sandbags, and mg42. Here's a picture to explain more:
Any ideas?
There are big open windows from all four sides of the bunker, but I doubt that is the problem.
P.S.: This is for my newest and upcoming map, The Front
No, not yet. If I change the radius, then that affects how far the light will reach in the bunker, which might be a problem. Plus, what is the default radius, I get no radius when I insert the light and I don't want to insert something over default.
Yeah you can change the color by pressing "k" too Thanks for that default thing!
But, question. Does light travel through brushes? It can't, or at least it shouldn't... Because that seems to be the case with my light, traveling through a brush.
It might, if the brush is not structural or the texture is see-through. The bright part of a light should never go through to the other side of a brush or it will cause errors and crashes.
