Well I gave Reish your message, he said he didn't even want to bother even arguing. So that's done.

Chill people.

ya know theres tune I like from years back called...

" It is what it is "

No need stressing, it is what it is :)

Rox could accuse me of being slack, I talked with him about making a skinning site, just dont have the time, got too much stuff going on, one day maybe Rox.
Philip II of Macedon sent a message to Sparta:
"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".

ok, just a recent thing

people who wanna recruit new members for mods when they don't know what they're creating

someone said (mentioning no names)

"ooh, it's gonna have new guns new skins more maps,"
no idea what kinda guns...
no idea what kinda skins...
and no idea whether the maps will be SP or MP if both, whether they'll be campaign linked...

just a base of something to build a MOD on... like WHAT'S IT GONNA BE!!! not, City Night's is good, let's make our own mod...
hope this helps, prob not cos it's all foreign 2 me :-/

PanTera wrote:Nowadays I basicly have one rule; if I take the time to look into their problem and try to answer their question, I at least expect some feedback. Something little like "okay thanks, I got it", or "Problem solved". That's all. If they don't seem to respond at all after I've answered their question(s) I simply ignore any other questions they post in the future. Simple as that and saves time too.
I wanted to comment on this, for all to read ofcourse!
PPL here are really helping others who come with problems, i have seen replies with solutions that are almost pages length! And because i know this really hard nightbraker PanTera, i know how much time he spends on this forum, and when he's trying to help someone, he would spend like hours and hours to figure a solution for ppl probs! I have seen more ppl giving comments, that i know must take a lot of time to make... but with the amount of time spent into solving probs and replying, you would wanna have some reply at all, and let's be honest, a simpel "Yeah, it works" is really simpel to do, and is very "not" time comsuming... I tried to reply and help sometimes as well, and because i hardly get respons to, what really solved it or if the one with the prob, even had something with my help. Since then i hardly reply.... to most of them...

---What i really like about this forum eventhough i'm not the main poster around here.., i really like the community that is building up around here!! Once upon a time, i made some quake2 maps, and, spent a lot of time on the quake2 forum Musashi's and really liked the sphere there!! And i see it growing here too. :D

That's it for now,

[bad spelling, m8!] Yeah i agree. I always try to give a reply, saying whether it works or if it didn't, and a thanks aswell. I have just answered one of my posts were someone tried to help, but had totally not understood my question, thus giving me a useless answer. But a still thanked him for taking the time to try and answer my question.

Yeah, i am beggining to regret making that 'longest thread ever' post. Although its been locked, it still gave newbie-rank-fishers loads of posts. I only posted on it twice!

I think people should care about ranks, but they should view it as '300, great, thats 200 people ive helped, and 100 questions ive asked and gotten valuble help' instead of 'thats 300 posts ive spammed, but it means I'm a ultra-spesial-general'. That annoys me.

Rant = over

Hmm.., you said i was a bad spelling guy?! Why on earth would you do the same..., better keep a low profile when making mistakes in the places you try to judge someone elses...
I know i had mistakes in my post, but i didn't bother editing it, due to the time it takes. Yeah, i'm lazy when it comes to posting anything, but i just don't think it all has to be perfect. I rather spend the time i gain here into mapping.

Cheers for agreeing on my opinion though!

lol - I cant see any bad spelling from me, grammar maybe (miss out a few capitals here and there) but i dont care, it isn't what were talking about, as long as the posts readable, which yours was. I only said it as a sort of afterthought kinda thing; to be honest i dont care.

Roflol, i agree, that spelling isn't a mayor problem, but it should be readable....
"But a still thanked...."
I guess my australian accent doesn't agree on you :P And so there are more mistakes in your reply...
I won't be precise, because i don't care either way..., i know i made mistakes, but i just don't care... why on earth would you reply with mistakes...???

Cheers,
