putting vehicles in a map

Post by cp51 »

hi,

does anyone know how to, or have a link to a site, where i can see how to put vehicles in my map, not ones that you can drive around, but ones that just move around and shoots.

also, does anyone know if... well:

1) can i add them in the map when i make it,

2) can i only spawn them on the map through the scr?

3) which way would make the map run faster?

thanks

1 is possible. 3 i dont know... im not sure about 2, because you have to spawn collision masks, and i dont know how to texture it from script.

Yes both are possible and there probably isn't much performance difference. However it's probably slightly quicker and easier to add them in the actual map.

Make sure you give the vehicles target names and then you can work with them within your scripts.
