What is your Life long Career choice? Please answer...

Post by Yarik »

Since I was 5 I wanted to fly. Now When I was 12 I realized my dream career would be being a pilot. Thats when I decided to become one. I thought of programing and game design, but I just cant imaging myself sitting behind a desk for 8-12 hours a day. Instead this is what my office will look like

My aircraft of the future

Requirements
4 year college degree from an acredited college
All certifactes (flight certificates) Cost = $100,000+
1,500 hours of multi engine time (flown 1,500 hours)
Basically that is it.

So what is Your calling? tell me about it...
I will add pics in a mom

I always wanted to go into the Army... Dont really care what branch because i suck at school (not doing so well... not that im stupid... just dont do anything :P) and i dont plan on really getting a job.. so if i go into the army i will get retirement money and never have to worry about a job :o

I wanted to join the RAF - but I have one eye that is lazy (ie I have a little depth perception problem) - I could have joined and done other stuff apart from flying but I didn't want to...as it is i'm between careers atm

Hmmm :? tough question.

Im 32, I left school at 16, went to live in Los Angeles and learn a trade with my brother, he is in construction but it wasnt for me ( though I still know all I was taught which is cool )

I have tried a hundred jobs including drug dealing :)

I finally landed on my feet when I bought a PC with some money my Grandfather left me. I guess it was about 5 yrs ago, I owned most every games console that came out, I even had a Neo Geo and paid ?120 for Samurai Showdown, what a game that was and a cartridge like a vhs tape :) I never realised what I was missing out on by not having a PC.

I always did grafitti and was into arty stuff, now I design websites for my living which is very nice, though I really enjoy mapping, more than making sites I think. I am happy to sit on my ass all day, suits me for I am lazy.

I have worked as a DJ in some very cool clubs in London, I even used to promote my own night for a while. I was a music producer too ( I still do that but I make Detroit Techno so its never gonna earn me my million )

So right now I'm a graphic designer, in two yrs time I may well be doing something else.

My advice, dont put all your eggs in one basket :)

"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".

I'm a programmer, working in the financial sector. About a year ago I realized that I hate the financial sector. Money by itself is deadly boring. But I DO like programming. So in one month I'm going to attend a game programming education that will last for 2 years.
( So in about 3 years you can at last expect a game that is better than MOH:AA  )

If ya do get the pilots licence, any chance of some free flights????? :P

Studying computing in business applications, something I?ve always wanted 2 do, it like this when ya finish school, find some you like, there?s no point in doing something you hate, I know becus I?ve been there, 2 years wasted doing a course I hated  , then dropped out, now I?m back and love it.
