my computer is not bad. So i always have high fps 2.
But some ppl's comp's are.
Most people who play average below 50.
Just because your fps arent very low doesnt mean that someone elses isnt.
***Read Bjarne's tut on detail brushes.***
and vis groups.....
Makes perfect sense to me.
More people will enjoy ur map if EVERYONE has good fps.

I'm sure it's more likely the type of card you have and your CPU, not that it has more memory than it can effectively use

its dependant on your cpu speed, your ram, your video card's memory, and the video card's clock speed.

well since none of this actually told u anything except about a guy who has a good video card - this may help. any textures that the player wont be able to see make them caulk (use ctrl+shift+click to select one face) making it caulk means that the comp doesnt load the texture for that face. might help fps a little. also getting rid of any static stuff u dont need helps, walls and stuff dont usually cause fps problems. making the walls closer together helps fpsa little. only rid stuff or make stuff smaller when u can - dont go turning ur map into a barrel lol.
