These Compiling Times In Mbiulder Are Outrages

Dude, Im only about 60% done with the map and it says its gonna take more than 8 Hours to Compile? Is there an Easier Way to Look At my m@p in the game?

did u use detail brushes?

leave a hole in the base of the sky box :D

change brushes to detail brushes, (railings, ladders, stairs, window/door frames, tables, chairs (if not already) etc...
hope this helps, prob not cos it's all foreign 2 me :-/

i know what ya mean compiling is murder cant some one make a compiler with a nice gui or something

avoid using a skybox until your map is done, unless its an outdoor map, then just leave a whole in it somewhere(remember to close this whole for your final compile)

I also suggest using ambient light instead of light entities, and do your light entities at the end..

this should make ure compile times like 5 minutes
