Say I want to use this, how do I set it up in radient. Useing already spawned ai. Reading it, it looks like an ai helps another ai over a fence. Sounds saucey.
:)

Also what does this mean and what is it for. "level.nodrophealth = 1"

I'm fairly sure that "level.nodrophealth = 1" will keep the AI from leaving a med kit behind when they die.

If you look through the wallclimber.scr, it seems you have to specify two AI charachters, the first is the helper, the second is the one climbing over the wall. Thirdly, it seems you need to add a script_origin along the wall, where you want the charachter to climb over and give this as the third parameter. It'll take a bit of trial an error to get the wall the correct height.

It's possible the script doesn't work because I don't remember seeing it in-game.

i didnt use that script directly, i just made them go to the wall myself, and did the animations. what it looks like is one guy stands facing the wall, the other guy stands behind him, facing the wall. you start the animations simultaneously, and the guy touching the wall turns around, and gives the 2nd guy a boost over the wall. i dont know how exactly your gonna get it to work, because when the 2nd guy is on top of the wall getting to the other side, his bounding box is still at ground level. so if you had him scale a real wall, he wouldnt get to the other side because the wall blocks him. one thing you COULD do, and this is what i did, is make the wall notsolid, and just put a playerclip there.

level.nodrophealth itself doesnt do anything. most of their scripts check for level.nodrophealth, and if its 1, then the actual ai has this line run:

$myguy nodrophealth


edit: yeah if you use this script like it is, it wont work. you have to do some tricks to get it to look right.

hey alco would you mind mailing me an example of what you did, I understand what you said and also making your own script is the go but if you can take out some of the guesswork for me that would be great.

Have you noticed the guys sleeping on bunks one of em doesnt line up too well with the bed and you have to put a little block under the bunk.

I am doing lots of scripted animations now and dont mind sharing with ya.
