Why is the model not casting any shadows?

well its sure worth it nj, so did you just make an outling of the plane model with common_caulk shadow?

Well basically, yo just have to see to it that the sunlit side is not covered with common_caulkshadow, else the side in the sun will become shadowed as well ( see an earlier post )

Well, yes, but the best way is to have it totally inside the model. That way you dont have to redo the brushes if you move the lightsource ( that would be the sun :) )
