Map World

Post by Asterix »

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post on this forum and I am pretty new to making maps for MOHAA. I have taken the time to read most of the beginner and intermediate tutorials and have a few questions which I have not been able to get an answer to. So w/out further due, here we go:

1. When building a map should one build his or her map within a huge
box whose sides and top are essentially the sky?
2. Should I follow the caulking first technique when doing the above?
3. I have had a few years of using 3D Studio Max. Is there an export
plug-in for models or should I do my own models in Milkshape?
4. Could someone point me to one good source on the web for radiant?
5. Where can I get the SDK and do I need to mess with it a lot in order to
create an averagemap?

Thanks on your replies :)

I am pretty sure you can export 3ds models for mohaa, I use gmax and milkshape I have a feeling if you have 3ds you dont need the milkshape step in the process, m0g is the guy to ask about the 3d stuff though :)
Philip II of Macedon sent a message to Sparta:
"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".
