Yeah it sounds cool for making hills and stuff, but I dont think it can speed up my process of embedding the terrain in my roads...

Well I like direct manipulation of the terrain vertices better (with a huge 'radius' value in the area filter), but this is cool
too.

I think it's a bad idea to encourage newbies to use LOD terrain.

well they have to learn sometime, might aswell point them in the right direction, it's better than sittin in front of the pc and wondering how the f*** did they do that
