Does tis tutorial do anything for you?

Yes, I newer knew it was that simple to produce gigantic, complex landscapes.

Want to make a natural looking terrain for your outside map? Scared of LOD? Dont be! Its as easy as drawing a black and white sketch.

Yeah it sounds cool for making hills and stuff, but I dont think it can speed up my process of embedding the terrain in my roads... :cry:

But its a very good tut that ppl should read if wanting to use the evil Lod...hehe

Well I like direct manipulation of the terrain vertices better (with a huge 'radius' value in the area filter), but this is cool 8-) too.

I think it's a bad idea to encourage newbies to use LOD terrain.

well they have to learn sometime, might aswell point them in the right direction, it's better than sittin in front of the pc and wondering how the f*** did they do that :evil: (i've been there a few time's)
