Ok...im ready for flames but classical music has always worked well to get the mind running :)

My music of choice or what I listen to the most is alternative but several hours of that while tring to think makes my brain hurt  .

I always listen to music while mapping - I have about 600 mp3s saved on my pc - i find it best if I shuffle the order of every single track, all 600. Random order is good cos you never know whats coming; which is good when you are hoping to be creative and come up with new ideas.

and about the other thing - i have about 600 mp3s i can contribute, Red Hot chillli peppers, u2, Coldplay, Travis - that kind of music.

Classical music is GReAT while mapping. Russian Sailors Dance is one of my favorites. But of course, I'm usually listening to Michael Jackson :-D

As for .map radio, there is a DHTML script for a Winamp type radio, link here

Hey! That guy did make "Thriller" and "Bad" and "Dirty Diana" and "That song with the cool morphing effects while everyone still had no idea what morphing was".

( That Bj?rk video where she morphs into a demented polarbear is cooler but MJ beat her with like... a decade? ).
