Crap again!

I must retest my map then... cant I just mark the caulkshadow as "nonsolid" in radiant?

If not: gimmi the non solid caulkshadow!

I still wonder how ( or whether) they did it in the original maps... :?

But I made my own shader and it works fine. It's just a file lightstop.shader in mohaa/main/scripts:

Code: Select all

textures/common/lightstop
{
	qer_editorimage textures/common/caulkshadow.tga 	qer_trans .5
	qer_keyword utility
	surfaceparm nodraw
	surfaceparm castshadow
	surfaceparm nomarks
	surfaceparm nolightmap
	surfaceparm nonsolid
	surfaceparm noimpact
}
This shader is using the same texture in radiant as caulkshadow (just set to half transparent) which is fine for me, u could change this of course.

probably similar to what crunch was talking about...

In Radiant, u'll find common/lightstop and a brush with this texture will stop light but u can walk and shoot through! :D
