Redo the forum

Ok this forum is reallllly starting to piss me off - now Coublacka can;t even log in - arrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhh

ok well I have several options open :

(1) Leave things as they stand and hope they get better somehow

(2) Reinstall the forum over this forum - don't think it will do much

(3) Install a different forum at a different location and everyone has to start again from scratch

(4) A better idea ??? Tell me

Perhaps make a data backup first and then reinstall?

Then import the old data into the new forum.

Sorry, i guess i just dont feel the same way everyone else does. I dont mind logging in each time. Doesnt bug me a bit

How widespread is this problem?

Just a thought -

those having problems - Do you have your browser security set on high i.e. Cookie acceptance turned off ?

I logged in yesterday, came back today and didn't had to login

Did you guys change something?

Maybe it's because I know go directly to "http://dynamic4.gamespy.com/~map/phpBB2" instead of clicking on the link on http://planetmedalofhonour.com/map ?

Anywayz, it has to do with cookies, so it's not your software but maybe the dynamic gamespy server?

If you move to another location then you can import the old posts, it doesn't affect the cookiestuff...

yeah i think its because the main page is in a frame (because of the news posting system i use) ONce I overhaul the site, I should be able to fix it (fingers crossed)

Definetly not option 3. I don't want to lose my high rank. 2 would be good. BTW, I've also didn't receive and login problems, besides, auto login sometimes works!

this might be a little off topic, but how about adding an irc chat in the forum. I know there is already an irc chat.

Well, anyways, click on my clans website link. This will tell you what i mean. It might be down right now because sometimes we get server problems, but most of the time it works.
