Perpetual smoke and fire

I need to spawn some perpetually burning fire and rising smoke to some ruble. Any ideas on the best way to do this? The fire.tik burns perpetually, but I can't find a smoke tik that does. Maybe I have to creat some sort of looping script...not familiar with doing that though.
