No Textures

Post by Guest »

Hi,
I still can't get any textures in the texture menu. I followed the getting started toturial to the letter. The console shows the shaders loading, it just won't show them in the drop-down menu.
Any ideas?

Make sure that your entdefs.pk3 file is in the "main" folder under your mohaa install.

Yes, the textures do show up in the texture viewer, still not in the menu though. However, that's good enough for now

Create a folder in 'main\textures' to contain your new textures, then create a shader for them in the 'main\scripts' folder. You can follow an example like misc_outside.shader in PAK0.pk3. If you are putting the textures in your own .pk3, they will not show up until your updated .pk3 file is in the main directory. I find that you have to close mohradiant to update any .pk3s that are in the main folder, as it has them open. The next time you open mohradiant, the textures should show up in the drop down list with the name of the folder you created in textures.
