When you delete triangles, in a lod patch, it does delete them in radiant or you can not tell unitl your in the game if they are gone?
I think I am doing it right, but the triangles are still there in radiant.

Not that I dont like a good gang bang every now and then, but I must say that you are wrong there Cobra. LOD will mess with your FPS if badly used... regular brushes will mess with your FPS when used badly as well.Gen Cobra wrote:LOD is crap and will gang bang your maps fps. Try and use patch meshes.
But you are correct in so far as that it is really easy to mess up the FPS with a large LOD patch... messing up a map with brushes takes longer time ( and is harder to fix ).
