a part off my map goes on forever???

:( ok here is the prob i have like 10 mins of work until my map is done and after a test compile iu found out that i have a brush that goes on for ever but when i go to mohR there is nothing there i have no i-dea at all when this started b/c i compile like once b/c it takes like an hour to compile and i work on it like 3-4 hours a day. if any one can help me with my compile time or the brush plz do?!?!?!?!? :(


oh and i also have this one spot on my map where when ever i put somethin there it turs clear???? i have no idea why

I believe that is a degenerative plane. Your brush may be to long. Trying cutting it into 2 brushes. I have had the same problem before with long railings or ladders.

You have an invalid brush in which at least 2 end points do not align on a grid point. You either rotated it funny, clipped it without checking the end points, or used CSG subtract. You can get rid of it by obtaining Bob's Tools and using the "Remove Evil polygons" function.

Your second problem could very well be related to the first.
