Hi

I need some one who knows how to do scripting, I read the tuts on it and I am still lost, it is all Greek to me :shock: . Basically all I need is ... the basics. I will give credit in the start up screen to who ever helps with this. Also on how to make it into a pk3 file, i'm lost there also.

if you don't mind, i would like to offer a sudjestion about your map. Since it's wide open with nothing to block views and your sky texture & water don't match, try this:

change your skybox to caulk sky - it's in the textures/common

then add in a farplane value of 3000-4000 depending on how big your map is.

then set your farplane color to either gray .333 .333 .333 or if you want a slightly blueish increase the middle number slowly to reach the desired result.

this will greatly improve your FPS on the map, and will hide the line where the water meets the skybox.

Cool! Thanks I'll try those suggestions out along with those made in my post at new maps forum. :D And these changes can be made in radient right? Or do I do that in scripting?

the sky box is done in radiant - the farplane can be done in either radiant or the script - but i would sudjest doing it in radiant to decrease your compile time.
