New SP level in progress: The Gustav Gun

Post by matt_moh »

I 'm working on a Single player level about the Gustav Gun, the world's largest railway cannon made by the germans during WWII. The level takes place in a large complex hidden under a mountian for the production of the gun.

It will feature plenty of scripted events and cut scenes, and extremely well detailed rooms and geometry.

The mapping for the level should be finished in a few weeks but I'm not sure how long it will take me to do all the scripting and ai.

Here are some pictures I took of the map in radiant:

Expect a beta release within the next month or so.

Also, here's a web page with information on the real gun, named "Dora" if anyone's interrested.
