Turning off crosshair when moving

Hello all again.
Is there anyway to make the crosshair dissapear when i press the moving key, like a key binding....hmmm, just wondering, any idea?

bind UPARROW "+forward; ui_crosshair 0"

My idea is to have a server side feature, it will make the crosshair dissapear when moving, is part of a realism mod.

you could call a thread from within the state file. detect someone running and turn off the crosshair using a stufftext, then turn it back on in the stand state.

Your going to increase network traffic quite a lot though, with all those stufftext commands.
