light leak problem

Post by Choncey »

hey
erm
when i make my map
i put some light
and when i go to compile it
it says entity (a number) "ligh" has leaked (something like that)
it does it for every light i put up
the map still works though
but i just wanted to know if i have to do something special?
or maybe a perticular position
anyways
thanx

this happens when you create a light, and then copy this light by pressing space bar. i don't think it hurts anything but you will get the error message. try remaking the lights one by one instead of just copying.

The light entities in the editor are bigger than they look, so nudge the light a few more units away from the nearest brush, and eventually the leak will go away. 8-)
