I used a custom texture in my map and did a compile. When I tried to run my map in moh, it gave me an error saying that my texture was an invalid type of .tga file. So I got deleted it, both the .shader and the texture itself. Before I did that, I also made sure to get rid of the texture everywhere it was in my map. When I did a new compile, I got the same error. There were no new custom textures in my map, they were all stock after I deleted my first one. Any one know what's wrong or how to permanently get rid of my custom texture?
matt_moh, I am new at this so this might sound stupid. Did you check the Textures window and click on Textue/Show in use? This will show you all the textures that you have in your map. If you still see your custom texture, then you missed one ore two.
I did delete the .pk3 with the custom texture inside and doughboy, thanks for trying to help but I already clicked the texture/show in use. That's how I was able to find and delete all the brushes with my bad texture.
Open the map in a text editor and do a search. But you should know that there is 'original' textures that don't work as well. So it doesn't need to be a custom texture.

Well, I searched the .map file and couldn't find my texture, which should mean that my custom texture is totally gone and not the cause of my problem. Anybody know of a quick way to see if the original textures work or not? I'm probably just going to map a sepete map to test each original texture individualy.
