for the weird idea of a skating mod I allready started a map.
the map is in a VERY early state and is very small, and wrong textured.
the map will be bigger with a lot more objects.

I like it already, but like you said yourself, the texturing can be better. :)

change the gravity in the game ex:type in console "sv_gravity 200"
that will make the skate park even more fun! :wink:

I want to make it that you roll on your skates and that you can grind etc. so setting another gravity won't work much :)

Sounds like you are gonna need a few modelers too. Good luck bud i like this idea, grindin and fraggin...what an idea.

real fun maybe :P, but why do I need a modeller? (you can make halfpipes out of brushes as you see in the pics)

If you guys don't mind, I move this topic to Mapping. Because everytime when somebody posts here, I think: Ow, the map is finished, but it's not. Of course you can post here when the map really IS finished :wink:

the map will not be finished soon I guess cause I want to release it with the mod (if the mod's going to work of course), and no, I don't mind that the topic is moved :)
