is there a texture that makes things invisible??

hi
i need to make a thing on my map invisible (sorta) and i can't find a texture that does that
i know that some textures have a black backround like fences and such...but i don't know how

Maybe Common/caulk, common/nodraw??? :?

caulk will make faces invisible. If the texture has see through areas (grates, windows, etc) then use nodraw texture. Both are in the common shader. Or type utility in the keyword box.

LOL you beat me by like 10 seconds. :o

You might also try the various clip textures. NoDraw will not block you passage. Clip textures are used to block access to off limit areas, to make LOD terrain easier to walk on and to make models seem solid.

If you need to do a structural brush invisible then Caulk is the only one that does that and keeps the brush structural.
