install question

Hi, I am trying to get bots working for multiplayer and am having no luck. I am using the lakeside map, installed bots v1.1 in the correct directory (/main). I can get the human players in to the game but no bots appear. When I type anything into the console (eg jvbot_addbot_spawn 4) the only reply is 'Unknown command jb_bot_addbot_spawn'.

I have read the manual from start to finish and cannot fugure it out.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using the Deathmatch Lakeside map or the Objective one?

I am using the Deathmatch one. Does that make a difference?

Also see the same point raised in other posts. Honest I did search the fourm first for an answer to this. Might be no harm if this point is inserted into the manual.

There is a deathmatch map that supports bot. Bots could work on small DM maps.
