Other than my texture scale being at .75 instead of 1 it looks about the same to mine, but then again maybe i missed something. Oh my look ahead is alot higher but im not even sure what that does anymore but i think i changed it for a good reason. oh and my rotatin incriments is at 15 instead of 4.

You should set your textures to .5, I think they were designed with that scale in mind :)
Philip II of Macedon sent a message to Sparta:
"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".

Yes, 0.5 seems to be the best default size. Gives good quality.

awesome, thanks, will try that. I just started to map for MoH so there is a few things I wanted to sort out. I had been mapping for HL, RTCW, Q3, JK2, EF, SoF2, and now Elite Force 2 and MoH. I am going to miss my GtkRadiant.

.5 huh....... what would be the basis of said parameters? Also for kicks while we are here what would be your standard hieght of a room. The reason i ask is that if i remember correctly at .5 the interior wall of most rooms would have to be 128 units high and if i remember my conversions correctly that would mean your rooms are only 8 feet tall........ok nm as i touch my cieling while standing up i now realize that .5 is a probably better than .75 :P

See you learn something new everyday.

I dnt think 128 units would be 8 feet because 128 units is the best height for a door as the player is a bit smaller than that.

I usually do my floors 196 units as that is a bit higher than the door so it looks quite good

a player is 96 units, correct? 128 sounds about right for a realistic ceiling.

It's really a matter of personal preference in your map.

Yes, a player is 96 units tall, which translates to about 6 feet, since 16 wu = 1 foot.

Based on that, I prefer my doors 112 high, smaller than most.

But I also prefer my ceilings (in most cases) higher than 128. I usually make them 144. Yes, in terms of "feet" it is a tall ceiling, but it looks better in-game to my eye.

I prefer my texture scale at 1, and adjust it as necessary with each application.
Again, this is a matter of personal preference. Your settings should be the way it works best for you.
