what the h#$* is warez?

i got this dload from a mohaa site!!!!!!!

but i will drop it if it is a "warez"......whatever the h#$* that is!!!!

did a little research on this little thing of warez.
i apologize. i won't bring it up again. hope i can be forgiven, but consider myself updated. i am embarassed of my ignorance.

didn't realize it was a crack or hack of the game, heck i thought it was widely used for saving cd roms from complete destruction(as much as i play the game).
if it is any consolation, i have used it legally. if there is such a gray line for this matter.

Saw your previous post regarding the No-Cd patch (locked)
Well what the guys meant was that Warez is illegal software!
Im not sure how the No-Cd patch would be warez though? This is a patch that lets the owner of a mohaa copy (original), play the game without putting in the cd every time... Is that bad!? I dont think so... Its your copy and if you feel that its pointless putting the cd in, why wouldnt you get a no-cd patch! (would it be illegal to add scripts to your shortcut, just so that you can skip the intro n' stuff? No! Would it bee illegal to make yourself a copy of your original mohaa cd!? No! Your allowed to make a backup, but not share it with others :S ) anyway....
There's other patches people been using, which is cracked Mohaa.exe... That particular patch is for Illegal copies of Mohaa! Thats what I call Warez, and thats what we dont like talking about... .Map can get in trouble for discussing illegal warez and be shut down... and thats why we support the mohaa community by having a real copy..

Dont worry no one thinks less of you its just that we are sorta on the fence on this one. I think since you state that you actually own the game then its ok but you refered to a game that isnt even out yet and a no cd patch for it.....well its a lil on the iffy side. Now come here so i can smack you in the knuckles with a ruler and then go outside and play with the other children.....[WHacK] ok all done.

See that was painless wasnt it.

i have had this game since it's release. i would have had to buy 2 or maybe 3 new copies otherwise. but thanks for understanding.
