"Vemork escape" in progress pics

Post by Bjarne BZR »

No, I actually do other things than sitting around posting teasers all day ;)
Here is the first picture of "Vemork escape":

Its just a road and a river so far, but it's actually a big breakthrough for me, as I've got a tendency to try to do all of the therrain first.
This was OK with the "Vemork approach" map, as it was a snowy mountain with very few natural details.
But this time the battle is down in a lower region, and will have lots of natural details.

So I finally dropped the idea to do the terrain first (thank every god in the book), and suddenly the inspiration comes poring in! :D

Stay tuned for the next episode of the comedy: "Bjarne stumbles through the lanscape"!

PS: "Vemork escape" is the 3:d map in the "Heroes of Telemark" series, the complete series is:
"Vemork approach" ( By me, complete )
"Vemork factory" ( By me, complete )
"Vemork escape" ( By me, just started it )
"Vemork ferry" ( By Random, in production )

Hey Bjarne, these maps are cool, they would make an excellent SP campaign. Keep 'em coming.

:) The first time I tried mapping and had no idea what I was doing, I tried an SP map... but since I only play MP myself: I kind of devoted myself to that... But maby I'll take in an SP mapper/scripter in the project to look at the SP possibility when they are all done... :)

( I'm actually visiting Vemork this weekend :D )
