script 2 events at once ......... kinda dum I know

Say I have a thread cool_action.....

cool_action:

$tarzan runto tree1

$jane walkto tree1

end

Now in game tarzan will do his walk then after, jane will do her walk. How do I script the 2 events to happen at once? So tarzan and jane will takeoff together?
