mp sounds in sp maps

Hi Everyone,

I have tried the new ubersound fix and added jvs sound.scr to global. Above wait til spawn i call for it to exec,....... no go!

We are running a dedicated AA server and trying to launch the training map as a multiplayer 3 ring pistol bash party. this lies on the out side of dm-obj folders so weapon sounds and taunts will not work and are not called for from the map,,, i have added training to the ubersound fix and jvs new global scr looks for the names anyway,

this fix does work when i test at home, but once loaded on the server ..the sounds of weapons not origionly used on that map and taunts are missing,

Anyone know how to add the sounds to stock singleplayer maps witout having to move them into dm/obj folders???

Why don't you make a full log file and post it down here :wink:

the server log shows no errors, my game console shows the standard sound can not be found in urbersound or urberdialog.......

on a lan i hear the sounds when i host... but clients do not hear anything and recive urber errors...

Still please show us your script and full log file. Even though you may not see any errors at first glance it may contain very useful data for others. I'm particularly interested in errors at map start-up. Try making a log file for both the server and the client.

Any SetCurrentTiki errors means that tiki wasn't prefetched and tiki-specific sounds for it won't work. To fix prefetch the tiki. Ignore if you don't use that tiki on this level.

hi there,

thanks for taking a look,, I have sent a link to a single player map conversion, still working out some things with it, but have tried to add discriptions of what is going on.

i Will add the exec global/dmpreach.scr I added is modified, it now launches .. mam_preach.scr.. witch contains, cache for dogs as well as
two other older ubersound fix tik that i use for other dm and obj maps

this script im sending, does work at home but on our server the sounds
are dead,

to launch the maps i send rcon map m***** no folders,
