Help with some basic problems

After i place some item such as table in my map, i compiled it , then when i play it in my game, i fuund that that all item disappeared, would u plz tell me where can i get some helpful information from . THZ

Furthermore, i donnot know how can give weapon , amnor, all of things that appear on the screen that showed in the singer player or mnti-player , i also donnot know how to add. Do u know how? Plz help me

To add weapons and ammo, open your yourmapname.scr and add these to your script after level waittill prespawn:

$player item weapons/thompsonsmg.tik
$player ammo smg 300
$player useweaponclass smg

this is to add the thompson.

hey um... you use notepad or what ever you want... but make sure the program is used for looking at text docuoments... anyways save it as yourmapname.scr (put the actual name of your map where it says yourmapname) and make sure you put .scr at the end of the name but if your on winows XP it will be formatted as a screen saver for some reason and make sure you make it a pk3 file and if you dont know how to do that i can shead some light on that too

make a folder name it 'map' and inside that folder make one called 'SP' and in there put the yourmapname.bsp and the .scr file in there and right click on 'map' and go to winzip and there click on 'add to file' and THEN where it says the directory of the folder rename it to 'yourmapname.pk3' and be sure to remove the .zip

hehehhe just pm me if that isnt simple enough... thats the simplest way i can think off..

.scr files are text files. Any text editor would work, like notepad.
