HitP Mod News

Post by General Death »

This news I am e-mailing to all the community today. HitP will hopefully become public to all now.
Dear Mohaa Community Members,

TMT has been very busy over the past months creating a TC mod for Mohaa called ?Hell in the Pacific?. Our goal with the mod was to focus on the pacific theater of WW2 for a change of pace from the German theater we have grown to love in Mohaa. We have tested the limits of the engine and current modding tools and feel that this will place you in as jungle like, open environment while yet trying to maintain a high level of performance.

This mod is truly one of a kind not just in theme but in the fact that we provide the community with all the tools to make their very own HitP material to incorporate in the mod or whatever other ?jungle? project you may want to work on. Even before its release our material is being used by other mods. This mod was started by the staff and members of TMT, www.modtheater.com, which have strived to help and support the moh community due to the lack of it from the game supplier. It?s very fitting then that we supply you with all the tools needed as the community wanted from the game supplier when moh was in the beginnings of its modding stages.

So what will the mod consist of? We have a great deal of material for you to use and play with. You will be able to attack on island landscapes with some including massive tunnel systems, trudge through swamps seeking out your enemy, battle for control of flags, escape enemy fighters on your six, and much, much more. The texture compilation alone is incredible not to mention the model work.

We plan on releasing our mod on the 19th of this month. We are not as completed as we would have liked to be, but with the amount of material we have we feel that it?s plenty to release. Our mod, like others, are seeing its members move on to more ?mod friendly? games so rather then simply call it quits this was the next best step. The future of the mod though is in planning. We have some members stating plans for games such as HL2, CoD, and not to forget those that still have work in the moh mod that will be releasing it once it?s complete.

For all the details on the mod check out or site at www.hitp.modtheater.com and don?t forget to stop by our shop, link at bottom left of site, to pick up official HitP apparel.

Thanks,
Jason Frank aka General Death
Project Admin for the HitP TC Mohaa mod.
And not to forget our team leader Balr turns 60 today : )
