ok its been forever since ive used radiant, and i cant seem to get it to work. when i compile, i get a .bsp, .vis, and .prt files. i do not however get a .min file. is this a problem with my copy of mbuild or is this ok? i dont recall having ever used .min files before. so once i compile my map and put it into pakscape and put the .bsp, .prt, and .vis files in the .pk3 file, i go to run the map. the game sees it but once it loads, it kicks me back to the main screen. running the console, it says:
no player spawn named ". can't spawn player
any ideas? i do have both a dm start box and just a normal start box, i originally had just the dm start box but then added the other one just to see. so if you could answer:
1) do i need that .min file? or am i packing my .pk3 acceptably?
2) what can i do to remedy the no-spawn thing?
thanks in advance!
long time since ive used radiant...... compile help please

Surely all you need to do is delete whatever starts you have in there.
Then right click go info/player start. With this one spawn you should be able to play the map.
Then to be clever and have more than one person spawn.
Right click go info/player axis, drop as many as these as you like into the map.
Then right click go info/player allied, drop as many as these as you like into the map.
I am not sure if you can paste the player starts, to be sure just keep right clicking and inserting them, remember you only need ONE info/playerstart the rest have to be as I explained above.
Sorted
ps. The .min, all it does it display that loading bar when the maps loading. Even if you dont include it in your pk3, after the player has loaded the map once the bar will display everytime after. Its a tiny file so its cool to include in your pk3, a bit more professional

Philip II of Macedon sent a message to Sparta:
"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".
