reviewers / tutorial writers for new site

Post by m4rine »

I have designed a new mapping site, which has taken me ages. I'm not going to mention more details about the site until it's up and running, but I have got the complete design up and running (apart from a few PHP bits unfinished). I am quite proud of the site - some PHP (coding language to create dynamic content for those of you are wondering - its what forums and stuff are made with) and other cool stuff. But what I'm missing is content. I've done loads of the normal stuff, like contact pages, file upload page (we will host peoples files) site hosting (and some sites), members pages, chat, forums. But although I have done a few tutorials and a few reviews, that's what i'm missing.

I am wondoring whether anyone would like to help with the site; not just getting it up and running but also maintaning and writing further content. There are many cool things like features for the site you could work on, but at the moment I am looking for reviews and tutorials. Any review of any map, and any tutorial. I've started a general mapping tips guide, but I want to make that a compililation of all the members work. I've also done a door guide, but anyone can do another if they want; we can put two on the site (quality + quantity!).

If anyones interested PM me or reply to this post (though I would prefer a PM).

A new MOH site again. :)

Is it just a general site in the same area as .MAP, or do you have a special aim with it like I have with The Rjukan project?

If you want to do a new .MAP I suggest you help us du a better site out of .MAP instead.

at the moment it is a general site; but we may have (probably will have) aims in the future. Also, the site makes it easy to add, new games, so we aren't just restricted to MOH:AA, but MOHAA is the only current game, and the only game we will really focus on. But there will be a forum board for other mapping, but that's about it. More details soon!
