Hi all, i have this problem, when i building 1 error are present in the console of DOS,

Vis_derived = 0
reading D:\Juegos\medal\maps\Mymap.ptr
**********ERROR********
LoadPortals: could`t read D:\Juegos\medal\maps\Mymap.ptr

I haven`t 1 *.prt file, when is this create? with the MohaaRadiant?? or with what program.... i dont know this problem and call for hempl to me.

Help me pleaseee !!! im just crazy now.

I also had this problem, but never mind. You need not have a .prt file. You can delete your maps that you compiled previously, and recompile it. And there you have it, your new map.

Idelete my .vis, .min, .lin, and all maps file bue NO .MAP file, but whe i recompiling with my .MAP file, is the same all the time, never have .PRT file.

normally if the compiler is not creating a .prt file, it means that there is a leak somewhere in the map - check the compiler window (where the errors show up) for errors near the start.

i have foun that i put a sky box and a box to run in 4 ground ,it comes up
and loads the .prt and runs 4 like 11 hrs and that was 4 99%. i have a amd 1600 and 256 ddr so is this usuall timeing 4 vis data of 270k
and another thing i find if i remove the skybox it skips the vis stuff and compiles map verry quickly
i dont know what is going on
