Patrol problems

Post by awgoodrich »

I've done the tutorial on patrols and waypoints. The only problem is is all the do is just stand there. Even when I get really close alls they do is hit me but you cant see them moving. But the worst thing is is they don't move from one info_point to the other. I need help

Yess... I have that problem too, help!! Do make sure to add pathnodes in between the way points, that was part of my problem.

I think you double posted, delete the second one. I'd delete it but I'm not a moderator, Id apply but I don't have that many posts even though I do know a good bit about mapping, and I'm studying scripting now and getting better.

I might come up with a solution later, I think maybe this part is wrong

$germanai walkto $point1 (I think that was what it was)

walkto just doesn't seem right

If you don't see them moveing you probably don't have your animations enabled . For a map in the maps directory you can put test in front of the map name to enable the animations . It is a little trickier if it is in the dm or obj directory . You will need a work around you will need to make a custom models/human/new_generic_human.tik
