ambient lighting
ive created my map, about 60-70% completed, and i wanted to see the fruits of my labor. so i compiled. load it up in game, and everything is dark. only by dynamic lighting can i see(gun flashes). now i look at the map in radient with the real world lighting check and get the same results. i can work with lights, but thats a real pain in the ass, and in order to get it to work for the whole map would tack another 15-30 hours to complete it. has anyone had this problem before? any solutions? ive made other maps, and they turn out fine, but anything i try for this map, it wont light ambiently.

Well lets make sure you've done it right, here's how.
1. Make sure everthing's deselected
2. Press "n" and make sure worldspawn is selected (if not scroll all the way down)
3. Find the "key" box and enter "ambientlight"
4. Find the "value" box and enter something like "20 20 20", more would be brighter, and vice versa
That's how you do it. Make sure thats done in your map
