Rotating the 2D views.

Post by silversound »

Is it possible to rotate the 2d screens? For instance, if you were in top view and the bottom of the screen was south and you wanted it to be north.
PM me your tips of the day.

I'm thinking changing the angle in the worldspawn entity, but that might just change the north angle.

:? You could always turn the monitor on its side. That wouldn't be easy with a CRT but with a LCD like me that would be easier.

But yeah, what advantage would that give you?

Hmmm... maybe some one else knows, but like I said turn the monitor on its side or turn your head. You could select everything and rotate it but with a big map that would be about impossible.

I noticed you can do that in Lightray though I found it to be a pain in the ass as it messed up my side view and I couldnt find how to reset it so that it was square on again.

I am pretty sure thats not available in radiant ( which causes me no pain :) )
