Red faction jump pads?

Think it's possible to make the jump pads like the ones in Red Faction? Kinda just wondering if it's possible I'm not gonna try it because I'm not that good with radient yet... :)

I don't know the Red Faction game, but you can make a jump pad using a trigger_push. Target it to a info_notnull or an info_null (who cares :D ) where you want the player to jump to.

Ah so you would have to define a place for them to land? In RF you just hit the pad and landed where ever you pointed was pretty nifty if anyone is thinking of making futuristic type of mod for MOH :)

Not really a place to land but the location to 'shoot' the player to. So, with a common jump pad, it would point straight upwards. However, you might have noticed that most jump pads in Quake3 'push' the player to a certain destination to improve game flow. Jump pads in Mohaa work in exactly the same way.

you can also putt the gravity down to about -300 :idea:

by hitting 'n'

key:gravity

value:-300

which will obviously make you jump verry high...almost flying :D

(the lower the value, the higher you jump)
