(edit: sorry my post has nothing to do with the initial thread, but I felt like answering.)

I'm not moving anywhere yet. Still working hard on my mohaa/sh (desert)map. I'm always mapping in snail-mode and I'm a bloody perfectionist, so I guess that's why it's taking me almost seven months to get one decent map done. The fact that I'm also doing my own textures and skybox doesn't speed up the process, oh well;)
It seems most mappers are always diving into a new/better(?) game as soon as it's hitting the shelves. Nothing wrong with that by the way. I just seem to be having more fun releasing a map when the game is out for like one or two years. Of course by that time it's harder to be original since almost everything has been done before. But I just know there'll always be diehard players who can really appreciate a fresh new map, especially when most mappers have moved to a new game.
It will usually take a while until the quality of custom maps is up to par with the stock maps. Sadly most Companies and Game developers seem to be in a hurry and so it's getting harder and harder for a player/mapper to stick to a classic game (which mohaa is IMO) for a period greater than just one or two years. I mean I still enjoy playing a furious Q2 deathmatch game for Pete's sake:P That game is out for like six years.
Besides I always find it hard enough to decide which game I want to map for next. And then when you finally know the game and editor well enough to make something nice you get the feeling you've already missed out on mapping for a couple expansion packs and follow-up games. It's kinda strange really; on one hand we are being overwhelmed by this flood of new games which of course is great to see. On the other hand the joy I'm getting from playing one new game after another is getting less and less.

Click the edit button and then check the lowest checkbox. You can't delete a post if it's the first post of the topic.

Btw make sure it says 'You can delete your posts in this forum' on the bottom of the page... otherwise the forum isn't working correctly :?.

It does say "You can delete your posts in this forum", but the bottom check box says "Notify me when a reply is posted" on the "edit post" screen--as it does on "post a reply" screen. I see 5 check boxes in all on the edit post screen.

Hmm that's odd :?

Then maybe can you see this Image button? It should be located next to the edit button and removes your post as well :).

No, there is just a quote button and the edit button (with a pencil stuck in it).

Ps: ok I see the Image now, but only on the last post I made in the thread (this one). And the "Delete this post" check box is showing up too. So, I guess we can only delete the last post in a thread.
Do, you see the Image in your last post, now that I have added another?

Well that's kinda strange :? never knew about this... maybe I can find something in the forum configuration that could explain this weird behaviour. Do you by any chance know if this has started to happen recently or if it has been like this for ages?

I myself find a Image button for all posts (not only mine even) 8-).

I don't delete posts often, so I don't know if it is recent. I noticed it when I used the back button to edit and got two posts on submiting it. And, could not deleted the first of the two. But, my delete button should not go away, if someone else posts after me, should it? Most forums allow the creator of a thread to delete the whole thing too--even if people have replied.

Sounds like a client problem and does not apply to "Admin".

I have found that you can't delete a post after someone has replied to it .

Good suggestion I myself as well find the current behaviour inconvenient, but I think all phpBB boards do it and can't find a setting for it :(

Anyway if I find anything I'll try and change it :)

Favorite List

It would be cool to add a Favorite List, so we could keep track of topics we liked or want to see at a later time. Would save alot of searching time.
