Brushes Dissapear In 2d When Zooming In Past Model Bounding

Why do simple brushes dissapear in 2D when zooming in on models. It seems to happen when the bounding box dissapears. Is there a setting in the preferences dialog?

This is very annoying indeed. Simply enable view -> show -> models as bounding boxes only to fix though. :wink:
