Hmmm
I don't think you have got a clue on how to review a new map. Using the author's readme file is plagiarism, ha ha! Also, "YOU" should make screenshots to emphasize what "YOU" think of the map. People who read it don't just want to know what the map looks like. They want to know your opinion of its playablity. They want to know if it is worth their time to download it!!!
Well as far as map info is concerned, I find including details from the map's readme file ok. The first part of the review is meant to supply a general description of the map and the setting. This section is primarily informative and shouldn't contain too much of the reviewer's opinion on this map.
The following 2 sections give a description of the good and bad points of the map. This is were the reviewer's opinion becomes obvious
Finally the conclusion should only contain the opinion of the reviewer in short.

I've got some screens on my site: http://www.planetmedalofhonor.com/rjuka ... l#approach
In general I feel that the reviewer can use screens that the maps maker has done, but only if he feels that the screens are a good reprecentation of how the map looks ( if the creator has done screens of irrelevant places in the map that just looks good but have no revevance for gameplay: the reviewer should make new screens ) .
******** edit **********
I took the freedom to upload some screens to the site and link them into the review. Just give me a shout if you want some other views smartaiguy.

looks good I was going to put some screens up if hadn't done it. Also next time I'll have to have you jv_map or Bjarne put up shots here at .map since the upload picture feature's disabled fer me.

I'm currently constructing a workforce from the game making education I'm in at the moment. Once we get some form of organization there will be an update on this. If not, remind me: I'm forgetful.Arro wrote:I am still content about the idea of getting all the Venmork maps and making a single player campaign outaa' them.
Good job to everyone.
