Static vs regular.

Post by Vampir »

Any one know if there is difference in using static vehicle models vs the regular ones in the vehicles section. Does thid affect scripting in anyway? Also does anyone know why when I use the regular Opel trucks in MOH Radient they have the light cones coming from the headlights. How do I get rid of this. Also using the sdkz model in MOH radient there is only the model when a map compiles there is the model plus a MG42...How do you use the model and not get the MG42.

Try

$mytruck anim idlenolights

and

thread global/spotlight.scr::deadcorona $mytruck "light left"
thread global/spotlight.scr::deadcorona $mytruck "light right"

for the mg on the halftrack

$halftrack.gun = quertyturretslotentity 0
$halftrack unlock
// you maybe need to use $halftrack.gun unlock too or instead
$halftrack detachturretslot 0
$halftrack.gun remove

Another way is to make a custom sdkfz.tik and remove the line

spawnturret 0 "vehicles/sdkfz_mg42.tik"

So give the truck a target name of $targetname my_truck or whatever I want name to be then add that 1st line to a script....hmmmm that might work. Well I found that the sdkz Africa model does not have a mg only the green one does. Also...When adding a exploder trigger to a tank ie tiger or king do have to name the turret and the body both targetnames of "exploder"?
